📋 Description

• The program manager leads the design, implementation, and oversight of projects and initiatives for the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine (GPM) and St. Jude Global (SJG). • They serve as a section and/or project team lead under the GPM director's supervision. • Acts as a liaison with other members of GPM and SJG and its collaborators, to ensure coordination and success of departmental, regional, and/or global initiatives and departmental requirements. • The Program Manager will play a central role in developing the South Asia Regional Program. • Driving outreach and engagement with regional collaborators like St. Jude Global Alliance members, governments, and strategic partner organizations such as the World Health Organization. • Managing relationships with a range of stakeholders inside St. Jude, including facilitating connections between internal groups and partners in the region. • Overseeing the Regional Program team members, managing their performance and development.

🎯 Requirements

• All candidates must submit a cover letter to be considered for the position. • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred. • Minimum Experience: 4+ years of experience in program management and delivery; 5+ years of experience preferred; Experience building relationships with diverse actors across an ecosystem for collaboration and program delivery; Experience designing and managing programs with focus on customer needs; Experience in program budget tracking, reporting, and risk management; Experience providing guidance and mentorship within program management teams; Proven experience engaging with senior leaders to facilitate decision-making; Experience providing guidance and mentorship within program management team; Some experience driving continuous program improvement projects; Experience working with international organizations such as the World Health Organization, UNICEF, the World Bank, or other parts of the United Nations preferred; Experience working in different countries and/or cultural contexts preferred; Experience working in a decentralized organization with multiple offices preferred.
