Description

• Stop Soldier Suicide seeks driven Licensed Clinical Social Workers or Counselors • Role critical for supporting the mission to reduce military suicide rates • Responsible for suicide screenings and risk assessments. • Establishes trusted relationships with at-risk clients • Connects clients with resources based on unique needs.

Requirements

• Must believe in the core values of Stop Soldier Suicide • Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, or closely related field required • Independent clinical license required (LPC, LCSW, LMHC, or similar) • Minimum of two years’ experience with vulnerable and at-risk clients • Hands-on crisis management and triage experience preferred • Military experience highly preferred • Must be adaptable and innovative • Professional and empathetic demeanor required • Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries • Capability to research and identify resources • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to assess and handle crisis situations. • Proficiency in Microsoft applications preferred • Familiarity with Slack and Salesforce preferred. • Must pass all required background checks.
