• The main tasks of a DevOps Engineer are to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure. • It is expected to develop automated CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud environments, and optimize system performance through monitoring and proactive troubleshooting. • It is necessary to collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance application architecture, automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, and ensure security best practices. • Additionally, you will play a key role in improving our infrastructure environment and mentoring team members in DevOps methodologies. • Identify, address, and mitigate scalability and security challenges to ensure high-performance, resilient systems. • Design, implement, maintain, and monitor cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure to ensure system stability and efficiency. • Develop and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively detect and resolve issues, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability. • Design and implement secure, scalable, and automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline continuous integration, delivery, and deployment processes. • Utilize Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools to automate provisioning, configuration management, and system scaling. • Work closely with development teams to enhance application architecture, improve performance, and ensure scalability best practices. • Partner with software engineers, QA, security, and operations teams to develop automated solutions for software delivery, infrastructure management, and system monitoring. • Deploy, optimize, and maintain cloud environments (mainly AWS), ensuring cost efficiency, scalability, and security compliance. • Investigate and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring high system availability. • Plan and execute initiatives to enhance infrastructure efficiency, security, and reliability. • Mentor and upskill team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices in DevOps methodologies.
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional • Experience with large scale applications on Amazon AWS • Experience with Postgres • Experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk • Experience with IaC (Terraform) • Experience with Linux, networking protocols, general utilities, and shell scripts • Ability to apply zero downtime deployments and autoscaling • Experience with Cloud-native solutions • Excellent knowledge of how to fix performance bottlenecks • Fluency in scripting languages like Bash, Ruby, or Python • Excellent communication skills
