Description

• Prepare and review test plans for both new and existing features, ensuring all functional and non-functional requirements are met. • Write and execute automated tests based on the test plan, perform manual testing, and document and flag any bugs that emerge. • Think strategically about test automation, and its adequate level, and promote and uphold best practices in your team and the organization. • Contribute to our broader testing strategy and drive initiatives to improve QA processes, metrics, and tooling, focusing on advancing test automation. • Verify the resolution of bugs, retest affected application flows, and ensure comprehensive updates to bug tickets in Jira with all necessary details. • Analyze test results on an ongoing basis and help track key testing metrics. • Participate in development kick-off meetings to understand feature requirements and proactively flag potential obstacles. • Contribute to feature development and maintenance as part of a cross-functional team. • Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing. • Act as an advocate for user experience when communicating with product, design, and engineering teams, ensuring QA initiatives consistently align with delivery goals. • Identify and manage issues, risks, and dependencies, and escalate to product leadership when necessary. • Understand the team's domain and actively contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation. • Support teammates in overcoming challenges, resolving blockers, and efficiently completing tasks. • Mentor teammates by fostering an open, respectful, and empathetic environment, while guiding them in writing high-quality automated tests and adhering to best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience as a QA Engineer. • Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in test automation, both frontend and backend, with tools such as Cypress and Playwright using TypeScript. • Experience building and/or supporting scalable test automation solutions. • Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization. • Comprehensive knowledge of test concepts at all stages of the software development lifecycle. • Proven experience in test specification, preparation, execution, and reporting • General knowledge of at least one database management system (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc). • Robust analytical and organizational skills; adept at multitasking. • Strong communication abilities enabling effective interaction with a diverse group of stakeholders. • Confidence, attention to detail, and a strong motivation to contribute to the organization's growth within a high-performing team.
