Description

• The Data Science Analyst assists in the preparation, design and execution of models and data products to improve the academic and business outcomes of Stride. • Leverage products such as: DBT, SQL, Python and GitHub to collect, organize and model data sets for peak functionality per business requirement. • Design, Create, Deploy and Maintain various products and applications through the Power BI service. • Provide ad-hoc analyses to drive insights, provide overviews of major conclusions, constraints or cautions. • Build and manage cross functional relationships in order to synthetize data domain knowledge. • Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization including but not limited to data ownership. • Collaborate with the visualization & modeling teams to ensure cohesiveness between products. • Process confidential data and information according to guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field • Five (5) years of relevant professional experience with BI tools and SQL modeling, including at least three (3) years of experience performing action and outcome-oriented data analysis OR Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases for BI products OR Equivalent combination of education and experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time • Ability to clear required background check.
