Description

• The Product Manager is a subject matter expert skilled at working cross-functionally who provides overall product execution and delivery related to Stride strategy. • They lean on their working knowledge and ability to analyze and understand customer needs to help shape the team’s roadmap. • Document and understand users and their needs, and make sure products meet those needs. • Implement and analyze metrics and data to assess success and identify trends. • Ensure relevant innovation for our customers through collaboration and execution of high-quality business requirements. • Maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories, features, and defects. • Collaborate with the scrum team to prioritize, plan, and release working product increments. • Inspire and motivate the engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency.

Requirements

• Five (5) years of related product management experience, especially in accessibility, assistive technology, online learning, and digital education OR Equivalent combination of education and experience. • Demonstrates experience providing strong product execution leadership for complex early-stage projects. • Experience leading technology-based product management initiatives. • Passionate and skilled in gathering and interpreting user perspectives. • Experience working with users with a range of functional needs. • Experience collaborating with internal and external technology partners as well as non-technical stakeholders. • Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills. • Previous success working with multiple concurrent Agile software development teams (especially Scrum and/or Kanban). • Experience with Agile development tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Aha, etc. • Ability to pass a required background check. • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency. • Ability to travel 5% of the time.
