• The Supercritical mission • Supercritical is the gateway to the carbon removal market • We need to scale to remove 10 billion tons a year by 2050 to stay below 1.5 degrees of warming • Our role as a marketplace is to discover the highest quality projects in the market • You will be working alongside PhD Climate Scientists and supply chain experts to source projects • Reporting to the Supply Senior Manager who oversee the day to day operation of our supply team • Become an expert in the engineered CDR market • Identify projects that will be the future titans of our industry • Onboard vetted projects and support them to get the most out of our platform • Build trust with projects through quarterly business reviews and structured deal updates
• You are passionate about CDR and have had exposure to the nature-based industry • You have experience managing relationships and consistently deliver great work • You are looking for a role which gives you autonomy and the chance to talk to high-quality project developers every day • You are excited about a varied challenge; although this role starts with Engineered, you should expect to lead on other key priorities as they emerge • Have a Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least 2-4 years of work experience in a high-performance environment • You have “hustle” and a track record of building trusted relationships with customers/suppliers • You prioritise ruthlessly and are able to make quick decisions • You are comfortable working in fast-paced and unstructured environments and manage this by creating new processes where they are needed • You communicate in a focused and punchy way that creates clarity and engagement • You are curious and love learning new things (especially about carbon removal!) • You have a genuine passion for the carbon removal space and can demonstrate awareness of the core concepts • [highly desirable] you have worked in the carbon markets or an adjacent industry
• Basic salary: £38k - £45k per annum (dependent on experience) • Annual leave: unlimited • One company-wide day off on the first Friday of every month • Pension: 3% employer contribution when matched by 5% employee contribution • Hybrid working: remote first with the option to work from our London co-working space 1-2 days per week • Other benefits: £1000 annual wellbeing allowance and working-from-home equipment budget up to £500 • Monthly company socials in London • Purchase high quality carbon removal offsets for your personal emissions from our inventory
