Requirements

• Strong candidates typically have 6+ years of experience in data science and analytics. • Empathy: You strive to approach projects from stakeholders’ and users’ point of view in order to produce the best outcome for all parties • Communication: You recognize that communication and narrative are as or more impactful than analysis itself. You are a concise and direct verbal and written communicator, and are effective at async communication (esp. in Slack, Notion, and of course email) • Embracing Ambiguity: You thrive with a large scope of ownership, and expertly prioritize which problems to solve, push your work forward even in the face of incomplete information, and offer proactive recommendations to help our product business improve • Ownership: You autonomously define, roadmap, and deliver large-scale projects, anticipating and resolving roadblocks and cross-functional dependencies • Growth Mindset: You add value by offering critical feedback to your manager, your team, and stakeholders to help them improve, and you expect and welcome the same from them • Technical Skills: • Expert SQL skills • Strong command of the fundamentals of statistics • Experience with modern data tools like dbt, Metabase, Looker, etc.
