• SupplyHouse.com is looking for a Business Development Lead to drive growth initiatives. • The role focuses on building strategic relationships with government agencies, universities, and trade platforms across the U.S. • Requires up to 60% travel, including visits to the NY office headquarters. • Responsibilities include leading expansion in customer sectors, team leadership, market analysis, customer engagement, and negotiation management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field • 8+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, or other related fields • 5+ years of demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams • 5+ years of experience working with academic institutions and/or government agencies • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and develop strong relationships • Strong critical and creative thinking skills to solve complex problems, enhanced by proficiency in spreadsheet-driven analysis and data manipulation • Proven ability to adapt to and manage shifting priorities, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and remain flexible in a dynamic, high-growth environment • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and work independently • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
