Description

• Surgical Notes is hiring for an Accounting & Benefits Specialist to assist the Corporate Controller in managing payroll and benefits. • The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and communication skills, with the desire and ability to learn quickly. • Working as a part of the team to meet deadlines, but also being able to work independently is crucial to the success in this position.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree • 6 years of accounting, payroll, and/or benefits experience • Prior experience with a large ERP (NetSuite preferred) • Prior experience cold calling and/or speaking with customers or clients • Applicable knowledge of GAAP • Moderate skills with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, Lookup functions, etc.) • Critical thinking skills with ability to spot issues and bring to resolution • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong attention to detail and speed while working within tight deadlines • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills • Exceptional ability to follow oral and written instructions • Ability to multi-task • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to pivot and reprioritize • Outstanding communications skills; both verbal and written
