• Lead a team of developers and engineers. • Responsible for setting the eCommerce technology strategy. • Ensure the enhancement and optimization of Swanson Health Product’s affiliated websites. • Provide strategic direction and technical guidance. • Foster a culture of innovation and best practices. • Design and implement scalable, high-performance web architectures. • Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders. • Ensure high standards of code quality through reviews and testing. • Identify and address performance bottlenecks in applications. • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical leadership roles, with a focus on eCommerce development. • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Clear written and verbal communication skills. • Deep understanding of usability and user-centered design principles. • Experience with CDNs and understanding their role. • Extensive experience with React and defensive programming methodologies. • Cross-Operating system experience (Windows, Linux, MacOS). • Understanding of log analytics monitoring within Datadog. • Extensive Java/Spring experience in performance optimization. • Knowledge of PostgreSQL. • Ability to lead a replatform effort to a modern platform. • Experience with frontend/backend test automation and CI/CD pipelines. • Understanding of cross-browser/platform issues. • Experience with JIRA and managing, triaging tickets. • Experience with GIT revision control software and Gitlab. • Experience balancing technical complexity and prioritization. • Experience with pair programming and code review. • Demonstrated expertise in Amazon Web Services and Kubernetes. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
