• Sword is a leading provider of business technology solutions within the Energy, Public and Finance Sectors, driving real transformation change within our clients. • We use proven technology, specialist teams and domain expertise to build solid technical foundations across platforms, data and business applications. • We have a passion for using technology to solve business problems, working in partnership with our clients to help in achieving their goals. • We are looking for OSI PI Engineer to join our team. • We have an opportunity for an experienced PI Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. • This role will support and manage our customer’s portfolio of PI Systems. • This role can be remote, UK based.

🎯 Requirements

• Here's what the role will look like: • We are looking for an OSI engineer with experience of supporting Energy sector or similar application portfolios. • Experience of supporting a diverse portfolio of applications, including Real-Time asset information systems (primarily OSI PI). • Previous extensive experience as a Systems Engineer. • Experience of supporting Energy sector or similar application portfolios, with a knowledge of SQL, Oracle and necessary database interfaces. • Experience working and liaising closely with vendors and has the ability to keep them on track. • Analytical skills. • Application interoperability, integration, data flows, functionality overlap. • Real-time data / PI knowledge/understanding. • Database knowledge. • Automation/scripting skills: csharp, Python (desirable). • Reporting. • Understanding on Allocations, system configuration and performance, Production / Lost-production figures. • Familiar with Agile & DevOps. • Fast learner and delivery-focused.
