Description
• Manage defense of policyholders with counsel • Work with attorneys and insurers on litigation • Prepare for and attend mediations and hearings • Maintain accurate legal budgets with counsel • Document claims activities accurately
Requirements
• 5+ years of previous experience as a litigation adjuster • Currently licensed or eligible for licensing as an adjuster in TX, FL, CA, NY, and/or IL (licensing fees covered) • Desire to learn and multi-tasking abilities • Ability to learn and follow claim structure • Understand basic legal strategies in conjunction with venue limitations • Able to work hours to meet California mediations later in the day • Must be proficient with MS Office and other internal programs
