Wireless Network Engineer

Description
•Design and deploy wireless networks (Wi-Fi, cellular), including access points and controllers. •Configure and optimize wireless access points (WAPs), including routers and switches for peak performance. •Implement and manage security protocols (WPA2, WPA3, etc.) and encryption to safeguard the network from unauthorized access. •Troubleshoot and resolve wireless network issues to ensure minimal downtime. •Conduct wireless site surveys and assessments to meet coverage needs. •Collaborate with network and security teams to integrate wireless solutions. •Monitor the performance, reliability, and security of the wireless network. •Perform regular maintenance and firmware upgrades on wireless network devices.
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Information Science Technology or related field. •5+ years of wireless network deployment and management. •Expertise in wireless networking standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and protocols. •Strong knowledge of wireless security (WPA3, 802.1x, RADIUS). •Proficient in network troubleshooting and site survey tools. •Experience with Juniper networking and security products. •Familiarity with cloud-based wireless management platforms. •String problem-solving skills and attention to detail. •Certifications (CWNA, CWSP, or MIST) is a plus.
