• About Symmetry Systems • Symmetry Systems is the Data+AI Security company. Our data security posture management platform is engineered specifically to address modern data security and privacy challenges at scale from the data out, providing organizations the ability to innovate with confidence. • Position Overview • We're looking for a skilled Product Security Engineer to be at the forefront of engineering features directly that security teams want directly into our product. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, software engineering, and experience with cloud environments. • You'll play a crucial role in shaping the security architecture of our Data+AI Security platform.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in engineering with a focus on product security • Strong software development skills, particularly in languages used in cloud-native applications • In-depth knowledge of secure software development practices and common security vulnerabilities • Experience with cloud security principles and implementing security in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and their impact on product design • Experience with developing and designing automation to remediate cloud issues is hugely favourable. • Experience with security in AI/ML systems is a plus • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills • Ability to balance security requirements with product functionality and user experience
