Description

• Lead the development of new features and microservices while collaborating closely with engineering teams to enhance existing functionalities. • Optimize engineering processes and set high standards for technical quality, driving velocity and scalability. • Own the planning, execution, and success of projects that directly impact top-line business metrics. • Reduce technical debt and implement best practices to build and maintain scalable architectures. • Write, review, and set the technical direction through design documentation, ensuring continuous improvement and evolution of codebases.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on distributed systems and service-oriented architectures, including hands-on experience with Rust, Kubernetes, and cloud providers. • 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager, leading backend teams in high-growth startups, with a proven track record in delivering high-quality technical solutions and managing critical production infrastructure. • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and achieve roadmap goals to achieve company goals. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, with a focus on direct communication and candid feedback. • Demonstrable experience in career development, performance management, team efficiency optimization, and hiring, with a commitment to continuous learning and a proactive, can-do attitude. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
