Description

•At Augmenta, we create software for the construction industry that fully automates the design and construction of buildings - completely transforming the industry and empowering architects, engineers, contractors and developers. •We're headquartered in Toronto, Canada with a global team of brilliant, kind and collaborative scientists, engineers and designers. •We are spread across Canada, the US and Italy, making our workplace a remote-first and distributed environment. •We’ve already built and delivered incredible software, and now we need your help to develop our first product and deliver it to market. •We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team at Augmenta. •You will be expected to wear many hats: first responder, build management, capacity planning and monitoring. •Provide a pragmatic “best practices” approach, which should be demonstrated in previous work experiences. •This role reports to the VP of Engineering.

Requirements

•1+ years experience with Docker and container orchestration systems (AWS ECS, Kubernetes) •Experience with Amazon Web Services strongly recommended (ECS, RDS, IAM, EKS, DynamoDB, Cognito) •Linux administration experience (CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian) •Experience with CI/CD processes and tools, automated builds and deployments •Experience in configuration management (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform) •Experience with monitoring tools •Strong scripting experience •Clear communication •BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience. •Nice to have •Proficiency in Python and or Go. •Certification in AWS such as Solution Architect, DevOps Engineer. •Well versed in DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP networking and security
