• About Tactiq: Tactiq is a software solutions leader revolutionizing the direct store delivery (DSD) industry. • About the Role: As a Senior Data Architect, you will design and implement enterprise-wide data strategies. • Strategic Leadership: Develop data architecture strategies aligned with business objectives. • Partner with C-level executives and stakeholders to translate high-level data needs. • Evaluate and recommend data technologies, including SQL/NoSQL databases and ETL/ELT tools. • Lead metadata management and enforce data governance policies. • Implement best practices for data storage, access, and lifecycle management. • Technical Leadership: Analyze business needs, profile data, and develop models to drive decision-making. • Design scalable, reliable data pipelines using tools like Matillion. • Ensure data integrity, security, and scalability with complex data models. • Oversee database administration and SQL development. • Mentor and support junior engineers. • Data Governance and Monitoring: Develop and extend data engineering frameworks, standards, and reusable components. • Build systems for tracking data lineage, managing versions, and controlling access. • Monitor data systems using statistical and heuristic indicators. • Analytical and Reporting Support: Work with the analytics team to develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. • Lead discussions to clarify data and reporting requirements with both technical and non-technical teams. • Operational Support: Optimize SQL and ETL performance. • Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred); equivalent experience also considered. • Demonstrated experience in data architecture, with previous experience in a senior/lead role. • Expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical). • Strong skills in database administration, advanced SQL, metadata management, and data governance. • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT tools. • Knowledge of data science concepts and cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, GCP). • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Proficiency in Python or another programming language. • Certifications (e.g., CDMP, AWS Certified Data Analytics). • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance.
