• Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) • Job Type: Full-time, Remote • Location: Remote, LATAM • Compensation: in $USD • We are a US company with a strong presence in LATAM across 20 countries. • Seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator to enhance capabilities and efficient operations. • Key Responsibilities: • Design, configure, and maintain Oracle databases. • Support database migrations between on-premises and cloud environments. • Analyze data access patterns. • Assist developers with data model design. • Define and implement best practices for management, configuration, and monitoring. • Manage storage capacity and plan for growth. • Provide diagnostic support and troubleshoot production issues.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Oracle, with over 4 years of experience. • In-depth knowledge of core Oracle concepts and architecture. • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). • Expertise in GoldenGate, Exadata, and RAC technologies. • Competency in managing Linux/Unix server environments. • Familiarity with CI/CD principles, especially using Jenkins and GitLab. • Understanding of AWS. • Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher English proficiency for communication in a multinational environment. • Expertise in Oracle RMAN (Recovery Manager) or Data Guard for database backup, recovery, and replication. • Experience with database security measures, such as encryption, user roles, and access control management. • Proven experience in performance tuning (both at the database and query level). • Experience with managing database upgrades, patches, and ensuring version control. • Knowledge of shell scripting (Bash, Perl, or Python). • Experience in implementing and managing high-availability solutions (including Oracle RAC, Data Guard).
