📋 Description

• We're seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our New Patient Experience engineering team. • You'll be responsible for a critical part of our patient journey, overseeing technology that guides patients from their first interaction with us through to their initial appointment. • Our new patient experience, from initial outreach to first appointment, is a major strategic focus this year. • We pride ourselves on our strong management culture and talented engineering teams. • About Talkiatry: Talkiatry transforms psychiatry with accessible, human, and responsible care. • We’re a national mental health practice co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve the problems both groups face in accessing and providing the highest quality treatment. • 60% of adults in the U.S. with a diagnosable mental illness go untreated every year because care is inaccessible, while 45% of clinicians are out of network with insurers because reimbursement rates are low, and paperwork is unduly burdensome. • With innovative technology and a human-centered philosophy, we provide patients with the care they need—and allow psychiatrists to focus on why they got into medicine.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience • 2+ years of engineering management experience • Strong technical background with hands-on development experience with React and TypeScript • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Track record of delivering complex software projects on time • Ability to balance business needs with technical excellence • Passion for creating exceptional user experiences • Bonus if you have: - Next.js experience - Experience working with marketing data in a HIPAA-compliant environment
