Description

• Perform Cloud Cost Optimization analysis and communicate the results (verbal and written) • Subject Matter Expert on Reservations, Azure Spot VMs, and Savings Plans for Compute • Work with Sales and Customer Operations to answer questions surrounding the ProsperOps platform and cloud rate optimization methods • Work with the Product team to develop new optimization services to enhance customer discounts • Create and deliver demos in support of sales activities • Scope and assist with Savings Analysis configurations • Assist with building features and automation in support of the Savings Analysis and other reports and tools

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in a FinOps or Engineering role with a cloud service provider, consultancy, or company using Azure at scale • Prior experience as an Analyst or Presales Engineer is highly preferred • Hands-on experience with Azure Cost Management and Billing Tools, 3rd party cloud management platforms, or home-grown applications • Strong computation, writing, and communication skills • Ability to make API calls and run queries to collect and manipulate data. Experience with PowerBI, Azure Synapse, and Command Line is a huge plus • Startup mentality—you must demonstrate an ability to solve problems and create a playbook • High integrity, curious, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
