Description

• Collaborating with a skilled team of software engineers to enhance our product offerings • Developing and maintaining solutions for advanced robotic systems deployed globally • Designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable software for robot control, navigation, arm manipulation, and sensor-actuator communication, utilizing cloud technologies • Building custom Linux images using Yocto, Buildroot, or similar tools, with a strong emphasis on system security and robustness • Innovating and troubleshooting alongside your team to drive product development • Assisting in product demonstrations and contributing to the design of proof-of-concept models • Automating testing and documenting your code within the CI/CD pipeline • Participating in product tests to gather feedback on user experience and system performance

Requirements

• Academic background in computer science or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory) • Proficiency in programming languages C++ and Python • Professional experience in software development, ideally in an industrial or robotics environment • Strong experience with Linux, with technologies like Yocto, Buildroot, or OpenEmbedded as a plus • Familiarity with the Robot Operating System (ROS) and frameworks like MoveIt for motion planning is advantageous • Knowledge of Qt, Docker, and Git is advantageous • Relevant certifications such as Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS), Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC), CompTIA Security+, or ISTQB (for software testing) are beneficial • A proactive and adaptable approach to learning new technologies and methodologies • An independent, reliable, and detail-oriented work style • Collaborative and flexible mindset, thriving in a team environment • Fluent English (C1 minimum); additional languages are a plus • Openness to occasional travel for product demonstrations and testing (optional)
