📋 Description

• At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. • TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. • They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. • Reporting to the Director Strategic Sourcing Electronics & Cable in the Corporate Procurement Team, the Advanced Sourcing Senior Manager will be leading the development of and execution of the strategic sourcing of electronics for New Product Introduction (NPI) across TE. • Own the global preferred supplier list for electronics and collaborate with electronics global category leaders to ensure alignment. • Understand supplier technology roadmaps and identify new technologies that could bring a technical and/or competitive advantage to TE.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering related course • MBA is a plus • At least 5 years of experience in a global electronics company in a global strategic sourcing role and/or New Product Introduction sourcing role • Broad commodity knowledge of semi-conductors, PCB, PCBA and electronic components • Experience in an engineering and/or technical field application role would be of benefit • Broad knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, especially Semi-Conductors, Passive components, PCB and PCBA • Knowledge of New Product Introduction gate stage processes • Knowledge of global electronics sourcing • Strong negotiation skills • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to people at all levels of the organisation in both commercial and technical roles • Ability to influence others • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task • Ability to work in a matrix environment with multi-cultural teams • Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and continuous improvement attitude • Ability to form successful working relationships quickly at all levels • Ability to prioritize and manage complexity in a fast-paced environment • Ability to meet demanding deadlines and task prioritization • Continuous improvement mindset • Fluent in English both written and spoken • Other languages are a plus • Timezone flexibility and ability to travel internationally
