Description

• Looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to work closely with Property and Casualty insurance carriers • Develop and document business requirements to assist product delivery teams • Provides intermediate business analysis functions for an enterprise web-based insurance application • Develops and documents business solutions for business problems and translates those to technical personnel • Coordinates with the technical team during technical architecture design, development and delivery of product changes and enhancements • Participates in business and technical requirements reviews and seeks to improve application workflow • Responds to production issues in a timely manner and assists in their triage • Provides support to new team members to understand the PolicyPort application

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business or Computer Science preferred • 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role • Property and Casualty Insurance experience required • Previous experience utilizing a core insurance application suite preferred • Experience with SQL queries and related tools required; other scripting language • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodology, SCRUM, JIRA • Strong customer service-oriented approach yet be able to articulate and suggest other potential pathways of accomplishing objectives - never be afraid to ask, “what if” • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, juggle multiple priorities and function in an agile environment • Must be flexible to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
