• About TeamSense: We're TeamSense - a fast-moving, fully-remote startup on a mission to revolutionize how companies connect and engage their hourly workers. • Your role will involve collaborating with Product, Marketing and Analytics to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • As a Senior Data Engineer, your primary responsibility is to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of a scalable and reliable data platform. • Analyze the current database and warehouse. Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to support data migration. • Lead by example. Implement data engineering best practices and design patterns.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field • 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering including 5+ years of experience in data engineering • Proven expertise in building and managing scalable data platforms • Proficiency in Python • Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, data migration and database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Prior experience with data migration strategies is a must. • Exceptional problem-solving skills optimizing data systems
