• Teamworks is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to lead an engineering team focused on diagnosing and resolving complex, high-impact issues. • This role involves guiding engineers, making architectural decisions, and creating meaningful outcomes across the platform. • You will collaborate with various teams to improve workflows and drive long-term platform stability and usability.
• Proven ability to lead teams supporting SaaS platforms in a complex, cross-functional environment. • Demonstrated track record of solving complex technical problems, from production debugging to long-term architectural improvements. • Strong technical background in backend development—comfortable working with Python, Node, Go, or Java. • Experience with databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL) and comfort writing or reviewing queries to troubleshoot and resolve data issues. • Comfortable working with RESTful APIs, including testing, validating payloads, and assisting customers with integration issues. • Ability to investigate backend logs and application errors, synthesize findings, and deliver actionable insights to Engineering and Product teams. • Ability to independently set team priorities, balancing technical risk, customer impact, and business goals. • Strong instincts for root-cause analysis and translating insights into scalable engineering solutions. • Strong communication skills—you can translate technical insights for product and support teammates, and articulate complex issues clearly.
