• You will play a vital role in our business by utilizing your experience on the web to enrich all of our web technologies. You will be responsible for:Maintaining, developing, and supporting our collection of high-traffic websitesMonitoring our sites and services to meet uptime and performance goalsPerforming administrative maintenance of our WordPress instancesMigrating sites from other platforms into our comprehensive WordPress environmentDeveloping and maintaining WordPress plugins that extend the functionality of our sitesCustomizing and maintaining WordPress themesDevelopment of rich media ads and creativesUtilizing your expertise as a web developer to propel the business forwardYou can expect to operate in the following technologies on a day to day basis:WordPressPHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptMySQLAWSGitThis role will have flexible on-call shifts in accordance with uptime goals.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience building applications and sites on the web• Excellent understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript• Ability to read and write PHP. Experience with object-oriented programming is a plus.• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers• Comfortable working with MySQL, importing and exporting data, and optimizing database queries• Ability to work with RESTful APIs and data formats (JSON, XML)• Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward• Must be able to work a 2:30 pm IST to 11:30 pm IST shift.
