📋 Description

• Analyze and defines security requirements for MLS issues. • Design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions to MLS requirements. • Guide effort to gather and organize technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the MLS arena. • Perform risk analyses which also includes risk assessment. • Develop security standards.

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7 years of related experience • Advanced knowledge of network security, cryptography, and vulnerability management. • Proficiency in security technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and VPNs. • Strong understanding of security protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS, IPsec) and risk management frameworks. • Experience with incident response, digital forensics, and penetration testing. • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, GDPR, HIPAA). • Strong leadership and communication skills to guide teams and report to stakeholders. • Proficiency in security tools (e.g., Nessus, Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite). • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect IT systems and data. • Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats to the organization’s digital assets. • Define and enforce security protocols in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. • Design, implement, and manage security systems, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and encryption tools. • Lead the deployment of advanced security technologies (e.g., SIEM, VPNs, multi-factor authentication). • Oversee the integration of security measures into the organization’s network, applications, and cloud environments. • Monitor and analyze security events, alerts, and traffic to detect potential security incidents or breaches. • Lead investigations into security breaches, conduct root cause analysis, and develop corrective actions. • Respond to security incidents promptly and coordinate with incident response teams to mitigate threats. • Perform regular security audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of current security controls. • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS). • Prepare for and support internal and external security audits. • Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities within the organization’s IT infrastructure. • Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability scans, and other assessments to proactively detect weaknesses.
