• TEGNA Inc. is seeking an Executive Streaming Producer to join our national streaming team. • Partner with journalists and creators to build news shows for TEGNA’s streaming apps • Write and approve scripts for shows and live streams • Translate complex information for a broad audience. • Perform basic video and script editing tasks • Communicate with stakeholders at TEGNA stations • Produce live stream experiences in partnership with TEGNA stations, including breaking news and weather productions • Embrace AI tools to produce streaming content • Coordinate with networks and other external stakeholders for live events, including confirming rights and sources • Provide leadership and guidance to the team day-to-day • Collaborate with digital leadership on overall team objectives • Lead performance management for direct reports • Strategize and execute multi-platform content plans for major events and projects • Maintain a deep understanding of current events and news • Leverage strong news judgement and storytelling skills to source and verify information • Drive data-informed decisions by providing timely and accurate analytics insights to key stakeholders • Ensure content meets standards of journalistic ethics, integrity and inclusive journalism.

Requirements

• Experience as a newsroom executive producer or digital leader • Previous experience with live streaming software (VMix or similar) a plus • Basic image and video editing skills strongly preferred • Ability to work outside of normal business hours, including weekend shifts • Proven strong news judgement
