Description

• Telix Pharmaceuticals is a dynamic, fast-growing radiopharmaceutical company. • The Director, Engineering will work on cutting-edge technologies to create robust and scalable solutions. • Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced digital solutions for the Medical Technologies business unit. • Define and implement the technical strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision and goals. • Oversee the end-to-end development process, from initial concept through to deployment and maintenance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of digital products and software. • Drive the architecture and design of scalable, cloud-native software solutions. • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines and standards.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field required; a Master’s degree preferred. • 10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture for product development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in the healthcare industry required • Deep understanding of relevant health care standards (HIPAA, DICOM, 21CFR), computer system validation, regional regulatory requirements. • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex software projects on time and within budget. • Familiarity with cloud platforms Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in software development, including security, performance, and scalability, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture. • Experience with scalable system design & containerization technologies such as docker. • Proven expertise in risk management and regulatory compliance assessments, particularly in healthcare or other highly regulated environments. • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions. • Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and concisely to various audiences. • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices. • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop technical talent. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement and adapting to new challenges. • Experience of leading teams in an ISO:62304 compliant environment. • Knowledge of ISO:27001 preferred
