Description

• The Athletic is a digital sports media company that brings true sports fans closer to the athletes, teams and leagues that captivate their attention. • We are seeking a highly motivated, multi-disciplinary senior designer to join our growing Editorial Design & Visuals Department and contribute to our award-winning journalism. • The ideal candidate must demonstrate a passion for visual journalism, have strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a meticulous attention to detail. • This role is remote for candidates located in the United States or Canada only.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of design experience in a newsroom or other relevant industry. • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, etc.). • Ability to manage your time across several workstreams. • Data visualization and/or motion design skills are a plus. • This role is remote for candidates located in the United States, Canada or the United Kingdom only.
