• Own the end-to-end production of Scoop City. • Build a forward-looking coverage plan across the show’s first season under production. • Deliver a fresh perspective on topics to cover, and spearhead creative conversation on segments and formats. • Help synthesize what’s happening in real time on any given day to make sure the show is covering the most urgent topics in the most effective way possible. • Steward video strategy so the show is optimized on YouTube and for social. • Book guests and create dynamic moments where the show is commanding attention. • Help the show(s) reach its ambitious growth targets.
• 10+ years of experience producing a national broadcast in an audio or video format. • A deep understanding of professional football with a fluency in how topics are covered and discussed by fans. • Expert knowledge of podcasts including creative direction, structure, recording and editing. • Ability to manage day to day operations while also planning long-term and building coverage plans around tentpole events. • Ability to capitalize on major storylines to achieve step-function growth. • Self-starter with great time management skills. • Strong attention to detail and highly organized. • Working understanding of the importance of video to podcasts in the current marketplace. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Some travel may be required. • This is a remote-based position in the United States or Canada.
