Description
• Ensure educational components within curricula ladder up to outcomes at every stage of the project. • Integrate instructional design best practices in content development processes for technical courses. • Develop content with accessibility standards, WCAG AA. • Utilize backwards design, considering applied learning and assessments to measure the effectiveness of technical modular courses. • Design learning that reflects an understanding of the diversity of career changing adult learners, including the demonstrated understanding of cognitive and/or cultural differences that may apply. • Integrate adult learning theory and cognitive load theory to develop interactive content pages into practical, application-based learning strategies. • Communicate effectively for different audiences in visual, oral, and written form.
Requirements
• 3+ years of instructional design experience. • Strong Canvas LMS experience. • Strong Cidi Labs DesignPLUS new sidebar update experience. • Excellent project management and organizational skills. • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Nice to Have: experience in a technical discipline - software engineering, product design, cybersecurity, or data science.
