Description

• The Trevor Project is the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ young people. • Our non-profit provides 24/7 life-saving support via phone, text, and chat. • We also operate the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ+ youth. • The General Ledger Manager will maintain accounting books according to the GAAP as well as other regulatory requirements and organization’s internal policies. • They will assist the Sr. Director of Accounting with day-to-day tasks.

Requirements

• Proficiency in General Ledger Accounting • Experience with Project/ Cost accounting • Experience working with Government grants • Experience working with QBO, Bill.Com, Abacus etc. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Experience working on software implementation projects • Experience working on preparing not for profit organization’s tax forms (Form 990, CHAR 500, RRF-1 etc.) • Experience training and mentoring others • Proficiency in spoken and written English
