Description

• TheGuarantors is a cutting edge fintech company setting the standard in rent coverage with unrivaled insurance products. • Conduct in-depth actuarial analyses on insurance products and portfolios by assessing financial risk. • Develop, maintain, and update sophisticated forecasting and monitoring models. • Extract and manipulate large, complex data sets using SQL and Python. • Represent the Risk Team in cross-functional projects and collaborate with various departments.

Requirements

• Requires Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or related quantitative degree plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. • The position requires 3 years experience in the following: • Risk analytics experience in Property & Casualty actuarial positions; • Experience in Excel, SQL, Python & data science techniques to manipulate/analyze large datasets for advanced modeling; • Experience with PowerBI or similar tools showcasing your ability to create compelling data visualizations and reports; • Experience using programming languages such as R or SAS to develop & implement advanced statistical models for risk analysis; • Experience in machine learning techniques applying advanced algorithms for predictive modeling and risk assessment.
