📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • Our fast-growing ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) construction company is dedicated to delivering high-quality projects with efficiency and precision. • We are seeking a highly organized Operations Manager to oversee permitting, streamline operations, and coordinate key tasks to ensure smooth project execution. • This role will serve as the central hub between clients, contractors, engineers, architects, and city planning departments to keep projects on track. • Oversee permit applications, ensure compliance with city regulations, and expedite approvals. • Act as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, engineers, architects, and city planning departments. • Manage and streamline day-to-day business operations, ensuring projects move efficiently. • Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency in permitting and project tracking. • Oversee floor plan development, engineering plans, and blueprint submittals. • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, city officials, and internal teams. • Assist with cost management and ensure projects stay within budget. • Monitor the progress of multiple projects, maintaining organized records of documents, communications, and updates. • Identify potential delays in permits or project execution and develop solutions to keep everything on schedule. • Build and manage a team as the company scales.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years in operations management, construction administration, permitting, or a similar role. • Strong understanding of permit processing, blueprint reading, and local building regulations (ADU experience is a plus). • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. • Ability to track and manage 10-20 permits simultaneously while maintaining efficiency. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools. • A proactive mindset to identify bottlenecks and improve processes. • Ability to take ownership of tasks and build a team as the company grows.
