• About Us • TherapyNotes is the go-to superhero for behavioral health Practice Management and EHR software! • Our top-notch SaaS solution handles scheduling, billing, documenting, telehealth, and more so clinicians can focus on awesome patient care. • We're a dynamic team of pros who love to innovate and push the envelope, keeping our software cutting-edge. • Join us, and let's revolutionize behavioral health software together while making a real difference! • The Senior Product Designer is a creative member of our Product team who will collaborate with product leadership and our talented in-house development team. • The selected candidate will engage in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, creating and fine-tuning intuitive user experiences that cater to the needs of our customers and their patients. • The ideal candidate has superior UX design skills, demonstrates an understanding of user-centered design principles, and brings curiosity, empathy, and an open mind to everything they do. • They must thrive in a fast-paced work environment that requires problem-solving skills and an aptitude for team collaboration and communication. • Together, we are shaping the future of behavioral health software, making it easier for clinicians to provide the best possible care to their patients. • If you are passionate about technology, healthcare, and making a difference, then TherapyNotes is the place where you can realize your potential. • Responsibilities • Play a key role in shaping the overall user experience and user interface of our products • Collaborate with various business partners, stakeholders, and leadership to translate requirements and concepts into sketches, wireframes, and interactive prototypes • Conceptualize ideas that bring innovation, simplicity, and ease of use to complex workflows • Design end-to-end workflows for high-quality implementation and intuitive user experiences • Offer a wealth of experience and a strong grasp of user-centered design principles and methodologies • Provide insights and recommendations based on user research and industry best practices • Facilitate and participate in discovery research, including user, industry, and competitor research • Plan and conduct design validation research • Create and contribute to product and feature specifications, UI Patterns, and Style Guides to supplement prototypes • Consult and partner on production files, documentation, and specifications for developers • Participate in Agile ceremonies and team meetings • Effectively multitask on various projects across product development teams • Coach, guide, and support other design team members as needed • Mentor, train, and onboard new designers as required

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience designing SaaS/web or mobile applications • Experience in working within enterprise level design environments • Portfolio of work demonstrating strong analytical skills and great interaction design • Exceptional fluency in UI Design software, such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or related design and prototyping tools • Proficient Adobe Creative Cloud skills • Expertise in accessibility and usability standards • Experience with a variety of user research techniques • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to work on several projects simultaneously • Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS3, JavaScript) and software development principles with a strong understanding of responsive web design • Strong attention to detail • Have a positive attitude and be a team player • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent presentation skills • Strong Plus: Bachelor's degree in User Experience, Psychology, Graphic Design, or related field • Strong plus: Experience with EHR, medical billing, or other healthcare software products • Plus: Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, or other collaboration software systems • Plus: Experience in an Agile development environment
