Description

• Provides support for incoming data requests • Coordinates with business analysts in the collection of user requirements • Designs the functional specifications for analytical reports, dashboards, or analysis • Develops reports and dashboards from multiple data sources using various software tools and reporting tools • Identifies and resolves data issues and provides analytics for the business • Assists users with data extrapolation from multiple sources; generates summary data • Develops, codes and tests queries and reports against various databases based on user-specified criteria • Develops the scope and design of reports by working closely with business analysts and the requestors • Applies comprehensive business knowledge and thorough understanding of database structure and capabilities to filter and guide business user requests • Develops guides and conventions to ensure data is entered appropriately for accurate reporting • Delivers and/or supports training to project teams and users on reporting systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years) • Technical - Strong development skills with TIBCO Spotfire and Power BI • Technical – Strong in SQL • Ability to multitask, prioritize and pay close attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong understanding of relational database concepts • Skill to organize and analyze interpret data trends • Experience in training others desirable but not essential • Ability to focus on project work and efficiently bring projects to completion • Demonstrated proficiency in office productivity applications (such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel) • Ability to effectively work within the constraints of managed projects and timelines • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and adapt to changing priorities
