• Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a Technical training and support engineer. • Opportunity to build, grow, and share expertise in sterile injectable products. • Collaborate with machinery suppliers and colleagues across our global Drug Product network. • Immersive technical training program lasting approximately 18 months. • Develop in-depth technical knowledge on sterile product manufacturing. • Work alongside colleagues at Thermo Fisher sites and SME at suppliers' facilities. • Access to formal learning sessions, mentoring from Subject Matter Experts, and introduction to Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodology. • Collaborate with our global network of Technical Training leaders across Pharma Services organization. • Develop and implement effective training solutions by addressing identified technical knowledge gaps. • Offer mentorship and supervision in addressing field problems and implementing corrective measures. • Act as an advisor regarding technological investments and development in the network. • Collaborate with Global Operational and Engineering teams to establish accepted methods. • Continuously upgrade your knowledge through attendance at key symposia and professional organizations.

Requirements

• Availability to travel up to 50% of the time to both suppliers' and Thermo Fisher facilities globally. • Intensity, commitment to solving technical challenges in a dynamic environment. • Analytical and hands-on mentality combined with a passion for high-end technology and processes. • Proficient in English (verbal and written). • Passionate about continuous learning and skilled at understanding how others learn, committed to elevating collective knowledge through on-the-job coaching, classroom, and virtual training. • Strong social skills. • Ability to create out-of-the-box solutions. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel), CRM software, and internet tools. • Must have: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (electrical/mechanical/automation/mechatronic) or Pharmaceutical Technology/Chemistry required. Equivalent job related experience might be assessed. • 10 + years professional experience in areas such as equipment maintenance/process & equipment engineering within sterile injectables manufacturing sites required. • Experience in acting as a Trainer in a GMPx environment required. • Experience presenting at pharma industry symposia highly preferred. • Experience developing technical training strategies (including both on the job and classroom/virtual training) and experience leading a team of technical trainers highly valued. • Experience with PFS and/or vials highly preferred. • Fluency in English required. • Fluency in Italian and/or German highly preferred.
