Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled technical writer to join our team and document complex applications and software systems. • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, with the ability to translate intricate technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. • In this role, you will collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams to produce comprehensive manuals, user guides, and online help content that enhance the user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, journalism, writing or similar • 3+ years of relevant experience in developing technical publications including writing, graphic design, development of artwork, and document control • Basic project management skills with an emphasis on time management (prioritization, scheduling and deadline management), communication, organization (document planning, file management, and task tracking), and project planning (scope definition and milestone setting) • Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing system • SME in Microsoft Applications, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant content management tools • Comfortable with written communication and documentation • Self-starter with the ability to dive in with minimal direction • Flexible and have experience working in a fast-paced environment • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Must obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance • Must be a US citizen • Must pass a background check and drug screening
