Description

• The Vice President of Tax supports the Chief Legal Officer as a key team member • Lead the due diligence, preparation, and submission of the organization’s forms 990, 990-T and state return equivalents • Organizing, managing, and building a not-for-profit tax team • Evaluate the tax impact for complex nonliquid donations and alternative investments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Tax, CPA required, dual CPA/JD preferred • Minimum 5 years' experience in 990 and 990-T tax preparation • Ability to understand and apply complex tax laws • Effective communication and project management skills • Proficient multi-tasking ability • Takes initiative and works well in collaboration • Superb organizational skills and attention to detail • Good discernment and reasoning skills
