Description

• The purpose of this role is to provide Dayforce consulting support for all aspects of the assigned Dayforce Projects. • The Dayforce Payroll Consultant participates in all stages of the delivery lifecycle (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post-go-live support), and may participate in one or more activities. • Deliverable responsibilities include gathering customer requirements, configuring the Ceridian solution to meet documented customer requirements, setting and managing customer expectations, providing guidance to and oversight to more junior consultants, identifying risks and working with team to resolve. • Apply the available tools and resources to implement Dayforce Payroll features and functionality. • Use various Activate wizards to update data and configure Dayforce, including: Pay groups, Deductions and earnings, Payroll elections and tax data for employees, Direct Deposit data for employees, Year-to-date amounts for earnings, deductions, and taxes, Map time data to payroll, Set up reports for regular, quarterly, and annual reporting needs, Demonstrate the ability to test the payroll solution. • Consult and provide best practices and recommendations on new product functionality ensuring the client is maximizing their investment. • Document and validate customer’s business requirements and map to product functionality. • Conduct consulting sessions (on the phone and in-person) and document with meeting minutes. • Attend internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables. • Provide customers with follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas of expertise. • Be a “go-to” resource for specific functional areas for both internal and external users. • Contribute to internal product initiatives. • Document solutions and contribute to a solutions repository. • Contribute to internal knowledge share; review posted feedback on a continuous basis and respond to questions. • Participate in Continuing Education sessions. • Complete new release training on a timely basis; be fully versed on new and/or enhanced functionality in each product release. • Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field is preferred. • 5-8 years experience in Cloud Based Software delivery. • 3-5 years of software delivery experience is preferred. • Experience with SaaS/Cloud Computing environment, including experience with an HRIS/ERP system is preferred. • Demonstrated experience with change management is a plus. • Demonstrated critical thinking through reviewing numbers, trends, and data yielding conclusions based on findings. • High level of integrity working with confidential client and customer data. • Experience in business process mapping. • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Powerpoint and project scheduling tools. • Ability to work multiple projects and clients at the same time and manage priorities. • Desire and ability to thrive as a detail-oriented team player who can work with minimal supervision. • Understanding of the software development life cycle. • Strong collaboration and organizational skills. • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present findings, or translate data conclusions into understandable documentation. • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and easily. • Desire to successfully operate in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. • Ability and willingness to travel to client sites as needed (Up to 10% Travel Required).
