Description

• We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer. • In this role, you will be working on impactful projects for Geoscience exploration. • You will utilize Python, GQL, NodeJS to build REST APIs, perform intelligent search and analysis. • Share knowledge, problem solve, and enhance existing infrastructure to support business initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of related work experience in an agile environment • Working experience in and deep knowledge of Python, Docker, and Databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, etc.) • Experience with Django/DRF • Deep functional knowledge or hands on experience integrating with REST APIs • Experience with Flask or other API service frameworks • Amazon AWS Experience • Working experience in Kubernetes a plus • Working experience with TypeScript and GQL a plus • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform) • A solid understanding of latest security and performance concerns • Experience solving complex business problems • AWS Sagemaker experience is a bonus • Self-accountability in a remote working environment • Uphold to our company core values
