Description

• Drive innovation in risk selection and pricing through advanced modeling techniques. • Collaborate across teams, optimizing underwriting processes, and analyzing policyholder behaviors. • Contribute to business improvements. • Develop and execute actuarial analyses to assess current and proposed underwriting practices. • Create methodologies for predicting applicant non-disclosure. • Enhance automated underwriting systems and collaborate with underwriting teams. • Partner with data teams to design tools for analyzing underwriting data. • Evaluate automated underwriting rules, adjusting based on new data or guidelines. • Assist in developing underwriting and risk controls for new products. • Conduct actuarial analyses on policyholder behaviors. • Work with data teams to gather, update, and maintain data sets. • Draft reports summarizing analysis findings and delegate tasks within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Business. • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or Career Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA). • FSA with a minimum of 6 years of experience, OR Career ASA with 12+ years of experience. • Proficient in data manipulation tools (e.g., R, Python, Excel, Tableau). • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams. • Highly organized and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. • Self-driven and proactive in problem-solving and project execution.
