Requirements

• 5+ years of professional DB Administration experience • Proven experience as a Database Administrator, specializing in MySQL (Aurora) and/or Couchbase at scale • Solid understanding of managing databases for large-scale websites • Familiarity with high availability solutions such as replication, routers, and proxies • Experience with zero-downtime deployment procedures • Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting requirements • Demonstrable expertise in administering Linux-based systems • Methodical troubleshooting skills • Excellent collaboration skills within engineering teams • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Highly energetic, self-motivated, and driven by a strong work ethic
