Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in a team setting • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, tabular data (SQL/Pandas/Spark/etc) • Ability to rapidly learn and model new, complex problem domains (like immunology and lab automation technology) as well as new software frameworks and libraries • Comfort with work that is occasionally interrupted by urgent operational needs • Comfort with troubleshooting and testing in production • Ability to work in close collaboration with scientists • Familiarity with full-lifecycle engineering (requirements -> design -> implementation -> testing -> deploy -> maintain) • Comfort with good enough for now engineering practices: leaving something 85-90% complete in order to tackle a higher urgency need
