Description

• Seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Communications to lead our communications efforts. • Build a communications strategy that highlights Terray’s novel science in drug discovery. • Report to the CFO/COO and partner with the Executive Leadership Team. • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy. • Expand existing relationships with key reporters and media outlets. • Create engaging and compelling content across various channels. • Drive a comprehensive content calendar in strategic audiences and social media channels. • Identify external opportunities to showcase Terray thought leadership. • Monitor industry and competitor developments and prepare plans as needed. • Actively manage and direct external agency partners for best value.

Requirements

• At least 10+ years of communications experience in a growth context; high tech or biotech experience is highly desired. • Demonstrated experience crafting and executing successful traditional media, social media, and internal communications strategies. • Strong content creation skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and impactful narratives across various platforms. • Experience supporting senior leaders with executive communications and thought leadership strategies. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, facilitate, and organize across multiple groups and levels of an organization, including direct collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team. • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex and sensitive issues effectively. • Hands-on approach with a demonstrated desire and ability to roll up sleeves and execute communication initiatives. • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop long-term communication plans that drive business results. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities. • Experience in working effectively with outside agencies, consultants, etc. and demonstrated ability to determine reliance on internal vs. external resources to achieve objectives.
