• Toast is driven by building the restaurant platform that helps restaurants adapt, take control, and get back to what they do best: building the businesses they love. • Toast is looking for a seasoned Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive and enhance the efficiency, execution, and cross-functional alignment of complex R&D initiatives. • As a Principal TPM, you will play a pivotal role in shaping program strategies, establishing best practices, and delivering high-impact projects that align with our product and business technology objectives. • This role demands a blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and hands-on program management, empowering teams to deliver on Toast’s ambitious roadmap. • Specifically, this role will focus on providing technical program management support for our FinTech business - managing some of the most complex and important initiatives that drive our FinTech organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technical program management, product management, AND technical leadership roles, with a proven record of managing and delivering complex cross-functional programs in a tech-driven environment. • Experience working in FinTech businesses and delivering large scale technical and financial products and programs to execution • Strong background in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and deep technical fluency. • Demonstrated ability to build strategic frameworks and standardize processes for high-impact delivery across multiple programs. • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with a history of effectively collaborating with technical and non-technical partners. • Results-oriented with a strategic mindset; proven ability to drive multiple programs to successful completion with a sense of urgency. • Strong problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to make data-driven decisions and communicate insights clearly. • Adaptable, iterative, and feedback-driven; embraces challenges as learning opportunities for continuous improvement.
