Description

• The Financial Funding Consultant serves as an in-house expert to the Prior Authorization team on the intake, submission, and follow-up of new product, repair, and rental orders. • Performs the role of the Funding Consultant while focusing on post funding claims cases, reimbursement issues or supporting financial processes, such as waiting copay and letters of agreement with insurance providers. • This position is measured on waiting copay cases that close/resolve, LOA/SCA and claims resolutions to support reimbursement, lowering write offs and increasing clean claims. • Review Prior authorization documents to ensure compliance with third party payer criteria. • Complies with all applicable Tobii Dynavox policies, procedures, and protocols. • Complies with all current government regulations and professional standards respecting patient care. • Participates in educational training on an ongoing basis to maintain knowledge and competency in the insurances, finances and policies processed by the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree, or 2 – 4 years related health care experience • 5 years of customer service/ third party payer experience • Knowledge of reimbursement and claims within our national coverage. • Ability to independently manage work, prioritize and communicate with multiple departments within Tobii Dynavox. • Strong oral and written communication skills • Interpersonal, collaboration, and teaming skills • Strong customer service orientation, including phone work. • Internet navigation skills • MS Office Word and Outlook • AMD knowledge • Proven time management, organizational skills, multi-tasking, prioritization, and follow-up skills in a rapidly changing environment • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work independently, while being a productive member of the team.
