📋 Description

•We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Developer to join our team and contribute to the full software development lifecycle. •The ideal candidate will bring strong back-end and full-stack experience, an understanding of legacy systems, and leadership in technical mentorship. •This is a remote, U.S.-based role, preferably located in the Eastern time zone, working within a collaborative Agile team to support ongoing sprint development, new feature delivery, and modernization efforts. •Lead and contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable web applications and features. •Work closely with the Product Development Manager to align sprint work with roadmap goals. •Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers; act as a subject matter expert (SME) across the stack. •Collaborate with QA, support, and product teams to triage and resolve issues. •Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to the team’s technical knowledge base. •Support legacy applications (e.g., ColdFusion) while contributing to modernization efforts. •Participate in Agile ceremonies and help improve team processes and coding standards. •Help maintain database performance through optimized stored procedures and SQL design. •Set up and maintain a local development environment and contribute to DevOps practices via GitLab CI/CD pipelines, AWS services, and Docker containers.

🎯 Requirements

•5+ years of professional software development experience •5 years of experience with PHP •2-3 years of experience with .NET & C# •Strong proficiency in MS SQL (T-SQL), JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery •Experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, and database design •Experience with Git/Gitlab, CI/CD, AWS, Docker, and monolithic systems •Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, IIS/Apache web servers, and security best practices (PCI, SOC, OWASP) •Exposure to ColdFusion is a plus •Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
